SYNOPSIS

Take My Heart is a family drama about the power of love and forgiveness.

Mackenzie, a talented singer and songwriter, reconnects with her father, Ray, when he hears her sing for the first time after years of separation. The opportunity to resolve their past differences is almost upended when Mac's ex boyfriend, Fox, appears on the scene.

Take My Heart is an engaging drama starring  Emmy Award winner

Kim Estes and Joy Sunday, who plays the brilliant singer-songwriter. Themagnetic Roy Williams Jr. is the obsessed ex boyfriend.

Lana Danielyan and Marisilda Garcia add to the intrigue.

 Joy sings Ocean of Tears, an original song written by songwriters and musicians Lesley Kyle and Michael Wilson. This film will also be edited into our TV spec pilot, The Other Day, (El Otro Dia)  which explores the relationships between three families in Los Angeles whose lives become intertwined. It is being shot in english and spanish. Produced by the award winning team of VisionFire Films.

Anna Simone Scott is an award winning writer-director and actor whose career  in film, theatre and television has spanned Australia, the UK, Europe and the US. Anna is the recipient of the BAFTA/LA Best Film & Screenplay Award at their member's festival for Chasing Chekhov, shot in Prague. Her directorial debut, the coming of age film, The Aerial Girl, screened at 40 Film Festivals including Academy and BAFTA award qualifying festivals and won 6 Awards, 4 Nominations. Other award winning films that Anna wrote, produced by her company VisionFire Films with partner Peter Sands, include: Coming Into Money, The Red Scarf, Finding Momma. And Anna's latest as writer/director is Take My Heart which will be integrated into  their timely TV concept pilot:The Day Before, (El Otro Dia) shot in english and Spanish.
 Upcoming: VisionFire Films is in post with a pandemic film, Love in the Time of Isolation. Anna is co-starring in the TV movie, A Royal Christmas Engagement, to be released in November.

Peter's film Chasing Chekhov won the BAFTA/LA Best Short Film Award at their Members' Festival. He also directed the award-winning films: The Red Scarf and Coming Into Money. His debut film as writer-director; Blacktop Afternoon qualified for the 68th Academy Awards®. Peter's screenplay credits The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne and Deus Volt.  He also works in TV and as a producer in independent film; A Leading ManOnly In L.A and Finding Momma.  As an actor Peter has co-starred with George Clooney, Rutger Hauer, Elliot Gould, and Omar Sharif, Gabriel Byrne, among others. Concentrating more on directing and producing nowadays; Peter is currently in post with VisionFire Films’ The Other Day (El Otro Dia), a multilingual family trilogy set in Los Angeles.
